Michael Binder (born August 4, 1981 in Friedrichshafen ) is a German handball player .

The 1.88 m tall left winger played for HSG Konstanz in what was then the 2nd Bundesliga South until 2002 . After moving, he played for TBV Lemgo from 2002 to 2007 and won the German championship title with this club in 2003 and the Supercup in the same year. In 2006 he was part of the team that won the EHF Cup . The trained banker is described as a player with a high fighting level and can be used in many ways both in attack and defense.

For the 2007/08 season, Binder signed a contract with the Wilhelmshaven HV . In that same he was relegated to the 2nd handball league with the North Sea townspeople . At the end of the 2008/09 season Michael Binder left the Wilhelmshaven AGM. He moved back to Lemgo. There he plays with HSG Handball Lemgo 2 in the 3rd division .
