Michael Braun (entrepreneur)
Johann Michael Braun (born August 5, 1866 in Heubach ; † July 21, 1954 there ) was a German entrepreneur.
Life
Braun grew up in an orphanage. After completing a commercial apprenticeship, he went hiking. Returning to Heubach in 1886, together with his future father-in-law Johann Gottfried Spießhofer, he founded the corset factory Spießhofer & Braun , which has operated under the name Triumph since 1902 . From the very beginning, both of them developed the factory into a company of international importance.
