Michael Carlsson (born May 31, 1972 in Ljusdal ) is a former Swedish bandy player .

Carlsson played for Västerås SK between 1991 and 2011 . Only in the 2003/04 season he was for the Russian club Wodnik Archangelsk , with whom he won the Russian championship, the European and the World Cup in one season. With Västerås he was Swedish champion in 1993, 1994, 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2001 and won the World Cup three times and the European Cup four times. In 2012/13 he made a comeback at Division 1 club Köping IS for one season .

He was also a member of the Swedish national bandy team . With her he won the 2003 World Championship as well as two silver and one bronze medals. In 2001 he was the top scorer of the World Cup in Oulu and Haparanda with 21 goals .
