Michael Grünberger (legal scholar)

Michael Grünberger (* 1974 in Bolzano ) is a German - Italian legal scholar .

Career

After graduating from high school in 1993, he studied law at the University of Cologne . Between the first state examination in 1999 and the second state examination in 2002, he was a research assistant at the seminar for German law and trainee lawyer, among others at the Cologne Higher Regional Court . This was followed by a Master of Law (LL.M.) at the New York University School of Law and a doctorate (Das Interpretenrecht). From 2005 to 2011 Grünberger was a research assistant at the Institute for Intellectual Property Law at the University of Cologne. In the summer semester of 2011, he completed his habilitation at the University of Cologne.

In 2012, Grünberger moved to the Faculty of Law at the University of Bayreuth as a professor, initially as a deputy chair at the chair for civil law , business and technology law . Grünberger has held the above-mentioned chair since November 2012 .
