Michael Herrmann (politician)

Michael Herrmann (born August 15, 1973 in Reigoldswil ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

Life

Herrmann is a trained banker and entrepreneur. He completed his postgraduate studies as a Financial Consultant FH at the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich .

From January 2010 to January 2018 he was district administrator , elected in the Gelterkinden constituency and was a member of the Education, Culture and Sports Commission, as well as the Finance Commission. Michael Herrmann was President of the FDP Baselland from 2008 to 2012 . Before that he was Vice President for four years under the former District Administrator Peter Tobler .

Herrmann exercised various other political functions. Among other things, he was a member of the community commission and the business audit commission of Gelterkinden. He was also president of the FDP Gelterkinden for many years. From July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2016, he was President of the Gelterkinden Auditing Commission.
