Michael Hofmann (director)
Michael Hofmann (* 1961 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German film director and screenwriter .
Life
After lengthy stays in Italy, England and Senegal, Michael Hofmann was a visiting student at the Paris film school La fémis and shot commercials for television and cinema. In 1994 he received a scholarship for the script workshop in Munich. He is a member of the German Film Academy and lives with his family in Berlin.
