The father of the three siblings Mareike, Dietrich and Felicitas Reber suddenly reappears with them after 50 years. He is no longer registered with any of the authorities and the father now stays with one of his children and sometimes with the other. But the siblings have written off their father for themselves and are trying to push him away as quickly as possible by sending him back and forth like a ping-pong ball: "You take him".
