Michael Horak (born November 9, 1939 in Vienna , Austria ; † June 12, 2014 ) was an ice hockey goalkeeper and a roller hockey player with Swiss and Austrian citizenship. He is the father of Gregor Horak and Oliver Horak .

Career

In Switzerland he played as an ice hockey goalkeeper first for the second team of the Zürcher SC , then for the HC Neuchâtel "Young Sprinters" , before he played from 1964 to 1978 at SC Langnau . There he became Swiss champion in 1976 .

He also played roller hockey at RC Langnau and was a striker for the Austrian national team in the 1990 World Cup .
