Michael Kupczyk

Michael Kupczyk (born October 27, 1971 in Lünen ) is a German film director , cameraman and actor . He lives with his family in Lünen.

Film technical training

Michael Kupczyk studied at the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund in the field of design the course film / television, camera , this u. a. with the award-winning director and film producer Adolf Winkelmann . While studying for the short film Giaccomo e Pepe, Kupczyk's work as a cameraman was recognized with a nomination for the 2004 German Camera Prize. His graduation film Nordstadt also received national attention and led u. a. to a collaboration with television stations such as ZDF and WDR .

Current projects

Michael Kupczyk finished work on the feature film Diamantenhochzeit in spring 2009, which celebrated its cinema premiere as part of the Munich Film Festival 2009. In June 2010 the film was regularly released in cinemas and was later shown as a TV feature film in the series Das kleine Fernsehspiel (ZDF).

The film was nominated for three out of five German Film Awards, namely for
