Michael Müller (politician, 1604)

Michael Müller (* 1604 ; † September 25, 1674 in Dresden ) was a Dresden councilor and mayor .

Life

Müller was the son of a citizen of Dresden and was a member of the city council from 1641. At this point he is named as a notary in the council files. In his function as councilor he took over the management of the hospital office for the maternity hospital . In 1662 he was appointed mayor and held this office every three years until his death in 1674. In 1669 he donated a legacy for "poor hardworking students".
