Michael Münnich
Michael Münnich (* 1963 ) is a former German cyclist and national champion in cycling .
Athletic career
Münnich's first major success was victory in the traditional race around the Scharmützelsee in 1980. In 1982 he became GDR champion in the team time trial with his club mates Bernd Drogan , Detlef Ernst and Frank Jesse from SC Cottbus . In 1983 he won the winter track championship in team pursuit (with Volker Winkler, among others ). He was at the start of the GDR tour three times , but retired from the tours. In 1985 he ended his career.
