Frank Jesse

Frank Jesse (* 1964 ) is a former German cyclist and junior world champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Jesse, of the cycling in the BSG Lok Dresden began in 1981 winner of the team time trial at the UCI World Championships of the juniors (with UWE AMPLER , Dan Radtke and Ralf Wodynski ). In the individual race , he finished 55th. A year later he won the GDR championship in team time trial with SC Cottbus . In 1983 he was able to repeat the success. In 1984 he was second and a year later third in this championship. From the traditional GDR road races he was able to win Berlin-Angermünde-Berlin in 1985win. When he started in the GDR Tour , 42nd place was his best result in 1983. From 1982 he was a member of the GDR national team and started on the country tours in Slovakia , Yugoslavia , Poland and Romania . At these stage races, Jesse was able to place fourth in the Tour of Romania in 1985.
