Dan Radtke (born December 3, 1963 in Fürstenwalde ) is a former German cyclist .
Athletic career
In 1981 Dan Radtke, who started for ASK Vorwärts Frankfurt , became Junior World Champion in the team time trial , together with Uwe Ampler , Frank Jesse and Ralf Wodinsky . In 1982 he was seventh in the GDR tour and won the best determination of the juniors in the road race , in 1983 he won the Rhineland-Palatinate Tour , came second in the Tour of Bulgaria and third in the Tour of Lower Saxony . In 1983 he started for the first time at the UCI Road World Championships and was classified as 66th in the amateur road race. In 1984 he won the French Ruban Granitier Breton cycling race . In the following years he was able to secure podium places on several tours, so in 1985 and 1988 he was second in the GDR tour and second in the Cuba tour . In 1986 he was third in the team time trial with the GDR team (Radtke, Uwe Ampler, Uwe Raab , Mario Kummer ) at the road world championships in Colorado Springs and in 1988 GDR champion in the same discipline with the team of his club . Dan Radtke moved to the HRC Hannover club in the early 1990s .
Professional / volunteer work
In 2006 Radtke was elected chairman of the Frankfurt Cycling Club 90, and since 2010 he has been the club's deputy chairman and managing director; he is also involved in the club as a coach.
