Michael Pettersson
Michael Pettersson (born June 2, 1976 in Gothenburg ) is a former Swedish handball player who was mostly used as a right backcourt player .
Career
The 1.91 m tall left-hander played for IK Sävehof and in the 2002/03 season for Bundesliga club TV Großwallstadt . Michael Pettersson made his debut in the Swedish national team in 1997. At the 2001 World Cup, he and his team lost to the French team in the final and became vice world champion. By 2001 he played 16 international matches in which he scored 26 goals.
