Michael Sauser

Michael Sauser (born September 21, 1973 in Zurich ) is a Swiss lawyer and world record holder in singing the national anthems of the earth.

Life

Michael Sauser studied law at the University of Zurich from 1995 to 1999.

On January 15, 1998, Michael Sauser completed a "National Hymns Marathon" in the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, where he performed all the national anthems of the world by heart in the original language, accompanied by the Belgian pianist Gilbert de Greeve. This achievement was recognized as a record for the Guinness Book of Records .

Then Michael Sauser was on March 28, 1998 for the show Wetten, dass ..? invited to Frankfurt, where he and the competition sponsors Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen performed five national anthems requested by the jury and won the title of the competition king with 71% of the votes. The staff music corps of the Bundeswehr accompanied Michael Sauser during his lecture.

Michael Sauser had further great successes as an interpreter of national anthems at various international sporting events and on television, including in the WDR "Wahl circus" with Marion von Haaren and on Swiss television, TF1, France 2 and VARA with Paul de Leeuw .

His five CDs with recordings of all of the world's national anthems in the original language were published by Koch Verlag in 2001.

Michael Sauser lives in Vienna and works as a lawyer and partner in a management company for opera singers.
