Michael Schobert

Michael Johann Schobert (born June 5, 1821 in Thierstein (Fichtelgebirge) , † December 2, 1881 in Dinkelsbühl ) was a German politician .

Life

Born as the son of a magistrate's councilor and businessman, Schobert studied law in Erlangen and Leipzig after attending grammar school in Hof . During his studies in 1842 he became a member of the Bubenruthia Erlangen fraternity . After his exams in 1848, he worked as a legal trainee at the Pottenstein Regional Court and the Münchberg Regional Court before becoming mayor of Münchberg in 1850 . From 1853 to 1881 he was legally qualified mayor of Dinkelsbühl . From 1859 to 1869 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament for the constituency of Dinkelsbühl / Middle Franconia .
