District Court Pottenstein

The district court Pottenstein was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1810 to 1879 and was based in Pottenstein in what is now the district of Bayreuth . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

In 1810, the district court Pottenstein was established in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria . This was added to the Mainkreis , whose capital was Bamberg .

The district court Pottenstein was mainly formed from areas that were part of the Bamberg bishopric before the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss (the Amt of Streitberg had been Bavarian). These were:

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the Pottenstein District Court was established, the district of which was formed from the previous District Court district of Pottenstein and thus the towns of Adlitz , Behringersmühle , Betzenstein , Bieberbach , Büchenbach , Christanz , Elbersberg , Freiahorn , Geschwand , Gößweinstein , Hannberg , Haßlach , Hohenmirsberg , Kirchahorn , Kirchenbirkig , Klein Gesee , Körbeldorf , Körzendorf , Kühlenfels , Langenloh , Leienfels , Leupold stone , Leups , Leutzdorf , Moggast , Morschreuth , Oberailsfeld , Obertrubach , Ottenbergstrasse , Poppendorf , pot stone, Püttlach , Rabeneck , Regenthal , irritable village , Stadelhofen , Stierberg , Trockau , Tüchersfeld , Unterailsfeld , Volsbach , Vorderkleebach , Wichsenstein and Wolfsberg .
