The in Wiesentalb located village is one of 31 officially designated community parts of the Upper Franconian market Gößweinstein. Unterailsfeld is located about four and a half kilometers east-northeast of the center of Gößweinstein at an altitude of 354  m above sea level. NHN .

history

Due to the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , Unterailsfeld became an independent rural community with the second municipal edict in 1818 , to which the villages of Moschendorf and Hungenberg as well as the wasteland of Schweigelberg also belonged. In the course of the communal territorial reform in Bavaria carried out in the 1970s , the municipality of Unterailsfeld was incorporated into the Gößweinstein market at the beginning of 1972. In 2019 Unterailsfeld had 63 inhabitants.

Unterailsfeld is not served directly by public transport , the next stop on the 396 bus of the VGN is on St 2185. The nearest train station is in Ebermannstadt , it is the commercial terminus of the Wiesent Valley Railway .
