Stempfermühle is a Franconian wasteland that belongs to Gößweinstein .

geography

In the Wiesentalb location remote area is one of 31 officially designated community parts of the upper Frankish market Gössweinstein. Stempfermühle is located about half a kilometer west-northwest of the center of Gößweinstein at an altitude of 322  m above sea level. NHN .

history

As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the Stempfermühle became part of the independent rural community of Behringersmühle with the second municipal edict in 1818 , which also included the villages of Moritz and Wölm and the hamlet of Sachsenmühle . In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , the Stempfermühle was incorporated into Gößweinstein together with the municipality of Behringersmühle at the beginning of 1972. In 1987 the stamp mill had one inhabitant.

The federal road 470 passes immediately north of the Stempfermühle. The place is not served by public transport , the nearest train station is in Ebermannstadt , it is the commercial terminus of the Wiesent Valley Railway . The Franconian Marienweg runs through the wasteland .
