geography
In the Wiesentalb location remote area is one of 31 officially designated community parts of the upper Frankish market Gössweinstein. Prügeldorf is located about two kilometers southeast of the center of Gößweinstein at an altitude of 463 m above sea level. NHN .
history
Until the beginning of the 19th century, Prügeldorf was under the sovereignty of the Bamberg Monastery . When the Bamberg Monastery was secularized as a result of the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss 1802/03 and annexed by the Electorate of Palatinate-Baiern in breach of the Imperial Constitution , Prügeldorf became part of the New Bavarian territories that were forcibly taken over during the Napoleonic land consolidation .
As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , with the second municipal edict in 1818 , Prügeldorf became part of the independent rural municipality of Stadelhofen , to which the towns of Allersdorf , Bösenbirkig , Geiselhöhe , Sachsendorf and Siegmannsbrunn also belonged. In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Prügeldorf was incorporated into the Gößweinstein market together with the Stadelhofen community at the beginning of 1972. In 2019, Prügeldorf had 13 residents.
traffic
A road coming from the state road St 2191 leads past the south-western edge of the town and shortly afterwards joins the communal connecting road that runs from Stadelhofen to Sachsendorf. Prügeldorf is not served directly by local public transport , the next stop of the VGN bus line 232 is on the Gemeindeverbindungsstraße. The closest train station is in Ebermannstadt , it is the commercial terminus of the Wiesenttalbahn .
