Hardt is a Franconian village that belongs to Gößweinstein .

geography

The in Wiesentalb located village is one of 31 officially designated districts of the market Gößweinstein in Upper Franconia . It is located about eight kilometers east-southeast of the center of Gößweinstein at an altitude of 482  m above sea level. NHN . The historic center is about half a kilometer southwest of the current settlement focus, roughly at the location of the chapel.

history

Due to the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , Hardt became part of the rural community of Wichsenstein with the Second Community Edict in 1818 . With the municipal territorial reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, Hardt was incorporated into the Gößweinstein market on May 1, 1978, together with most of the Wichsenstein community. In 1987 Hardt had 40 inhabitants.

The district road FO 37 coming from Sattelmannsburg crosses the village and continues to Wichsenstein on the high plateau of the Northern Franconian Alb .
