Sorg is a Franconian hamlet on the southern edge of the Wiesentalb , which belongs to Obertrubach .

The village is one of 16 officially named districts of the community Obertrubach in the south of Upper Franconia . It is located a little less than four kilometers west of Obertrubach at an altitude of 554  m above sea level. NHN .

history

Until the end of the 18th century, Sorg was under the sovereignty of the Bamberg Monastery . The village and community rulership exercised its Vogteiamt Wolfsberg . When the Bamberg Monastery was secularized as a result of the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss 1802/03 and annexed by the Electorate Palatinate-Baiern in breach of the Imperial Constitution , Sorg also became part of the New Bavarian territories that were taken over during the "Napoleonic land consolidation" .

As a result of the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , Dörfles became part of the rural community of Wolfsberg with the second municipal edict in 1818 , which also included the three villages Dörfles , Hundsdorf and Untertrubach . With the communal territorial reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, Sorg was incorporated into Obertrubach with the Wolfsberg community at the beginning of 1972. In 1987, Sorg had nine residents.

The connection to the public road network is established by a communal road that branches off from the district road FO 23 in the neighboring village of Dörfles to the south-west and continues in a north-east direction to the state road St 2191 .
