Neudorf is a Franconian village in the north-western edge of the Pegnitz-Kuppenalb , which belongs to the municipality of Obertrubach .

The village is one of 16 officially named districts of the municipality of Obertrubach in the south of Upper Franconia . It is located about one kilometer east-southeast of the center of Obertrubach and is at an altitude of 530 m above sea level. NHN . The village, located in the middle of a cleared island, forms the easternmost part of the municipality of Obertrubach.

history

By the early 19th century in the Kingdom of Bavaria carried out administrative reforms Neudorf was the second municipality edict in 1818 for part of the independent rural community Obertrubach to the then still the villages Duke wind and Möchs and the wastelands Hackermühle , Reichel mill , Schlöttermühle and brick mill belongs had.
