Office Ebermannstadt
The Ebermannstadt office was an administrative area of the Bamberg bishopric , a direct imperial territory in the Holy Roman Empire . The Bamberg Monastery, which was assigned to the Franconian Empire , was a clerical principality that existed until the beginning of the 19th century.
geography
The office, located in the southeast of the Bamberg dominion area, was one of the larger high estates and was located in the middle of the Bamberg core area. Its neighboring territories in Bamberg were the offices of Eggolsheim , Forchheim , Gößweinstein , Waischenfeld and Wolfsberg or parts of them ( exclaves ). In the north-east of the official area was the Amt Streitberg belonging to the Principality of Bayreuth and an enclave within the Bamberg core area . Another exclave of this principality existed on the southwest border of the Ebermannstadt office with the Vogtei Hetzelsdorf .
structure
The management of the Office Ebermannstadt consisted of a top official , a bailiff office , a tax office , a box office and a penny Office .
Official seat
The seat of the official administration was in Ebermannstadt. At the beginning of the 19th century, the administration was housed in an office building that had been built in 1792 and was located immediately northwest of the Ebermannstadt core town.
Office administration
The trunk formed a Vogt , at the same time as Cent Richter , Kastner , tax collector , Umgelder and forester acted. The official staff also included local mayors in 20 localities.
Oberamt
The Oberamt Ebermannstadt was an intermediate authority which - as usual in the Bamberg Monastery - performed exclusively representative activities and exercised neither jurisdiction nor administrative tasks.
Bailiwick Office
The Vogteiamt Ebermannstadt was one of the 54 Vogteiamts of the Bamberg Monastery . Its bailiwick district comprised the following village markings and localities:
- Breitenbach , Buckenreuth , Ebermannstadt , Eschlipp , Gasseldorf , Haag , Leidingshof , Moggast , Rothenbühl , Rüssenbach (only the district northwest of the Neuseser Bach ), Unterleinleiter , Veilbronn , Volkmannsreuth and Wohlmuthshüll .
In addition, Hartenreuth belonged to the Bailiwick district of the Ebermannstädter office , in which the village markings were exercised by the village and community rulership together with the Bamberg office of Gößweinstein .
Centamt
The Ebermannstadt Centers Office was one of the 29 Centers offices of the Bamberg Monastery. Its high court district comprised the following village markings and localities:
- Breitenbach, Buck Reuth, Burggaillenreuth , Burggrub , Dürr Brunn , Ebermannstadt, Eschlipp, Gasseldorf, Gasseldorf, Gößmannsberg , Hagenbach , Kanndorf , Kolmreuth , Leidingshof, Luetzel village , Moggast, Morschreuth , Oberleinleiter , upper fence Bach , Pfaffenloh , Poppendorf , Pretzfeld , Rothenbühl, Rüssenbach (only the north-west of the Neuseser Bach district), Siegritz , Thosmühle , Unterleinleiter, Unterzaunsbach , Urspring , Veilbronn, Volkmannsreuth, Wannbach , Windischgaillreuth and Wohlmuthshüll.
Tax office
The Ebermannstadt tax office was one of the 46 tax offices of the Bamberg monastery. The spatial scope of the tax office was congruent with that of the Ebermannstädter Vogteiamt.
The economic importance of the office for the bishopric of Bamberg was a little more than average, it was therefore listed as Amt II class (out of 5). The tax revenue of the tax office averaged in the term of office of Peter Philipp von Dernbach (1672-1683) 2787 and in the term of office of Marquard Sebastian Schenk von Stauffenberg (1683-1693) 2258 Franconian guilders per year.
Caste office
The Ebermannstadt caste office was one of the 24 caste offices of the Bamberg monastery.
