Thosmühle is a Franconian wasteland that belongs to Ebermannstadt .

geography

The west of the Wiesentalb preferred solitude is one of 17 officially designated districts in Upper Franconia town of Ebermannstadt. It is located about four and a half kilometers east-southeast of the center of Ebermannstadt at an altitude of 361  m above sea level. NHN .

history

Until the beginning of the 19th century, the Thosmühle had been located within the high court district of the Ebermannstadt office belonging to the Bamberg monastery . In its role as Centamt it exercised the high judiciary .

As a result of the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the Thosmühle became part of the rural community of Moggast , to which the village of Wolkenstein also belonged, with the second municipal edict in 1818 . During the municipal territorial reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, the Thosmühle was incorporated into the town of Ebermannstadt together with the municipality of Moggast on July 1, 1976. In 1987 the Thosmühle had three residents.

traffic

A communal road that branches off from the FO 30 district road on the western outskirts of Urspring crosses the village and continues to Moggast on the high plateau of the Northern Franconian Jura . The public transport operates the village on a stop of the bus line 234 of the VGN . The closest train station to the Wiesent Valley Railway is in Pretzfeld.
