District court Pottenstein

The District Court of Pottenstein was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1959 and was based in the Upper Franconian town of Pottenstein .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in Pottenstein, the district of which was formed from the previous district of Pottenstein and thus the places Adlitz , Behringersmühle , Betzenstein , Bieberbach , Büchenbach , Christanz , Elbersberg , Freiahorn , Geschwand , Gößweinstein , Hannberg , Haßlach , Hohenmirsberg , Kirchahorn , Kirchenbirkig , Klein Gesee , Körbeldorf , Körzendorf , Kühlenfels , Langenloh , Leienfels , Leupold stone , Leups , Leutzdorf , Moggast , Morschreuth , Oberailsfeld , Obertrubach , Ottenbergstrasse , Poppendorf , pot stone, Püttlach , Rabeneck , Regenthal , irritable Dorf , Stadelhofen , Stierberg , Trockau , Tüchersfeld , Unterailsfeld , Volsbach , Vorderkleebach , Wichsenstein and Wolfsberg included. The higher authority was the Bayreuth Regional Court .

After the Pottenstein District Court was downgraded to a branch of the Pegnitz District Court due to the war and this was confirmed again in 1956, this branch was closed on July 1, 1959 on the instructions of the Bavarian State Minister of Justice .
