Berneck District Court

The Berneck District Court was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1959 and was based in Berneck .

history

From 1840 there was an older Bavarian regional court in Berneck . On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, it was converted into the Berneck District Court. The next higher instance was the Bayreuth Regional Court .

After the Berneck District Court was downgraded to a branch of the Bayreuth District Court towards the end of the Second World War and this measure was confirmed in 1956, this branch was closed on July 1, 1959 by ordinance of the Bavarian State Minister of Justice .
