District court Pegnitz
The District Court of Pegnitz was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1973 and was based in Pegnitz .
history
From 1840 there was an older Bavarian regional court in Pegnitz . On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, it was converted into the Pegnitz District Court. The next higher instance was the Bayreuth Regional Court .
In 1973 the Pegnitz District Court was repealed. The municipalities of Bärnfels, Behringersmühle , Bieberbach , Geschwand, Gößweinstein , Kleingesee , Leutzdorf , Moggast, Morschreuth , Obertrubach , Stadelhofen, Unterailsfeld, Wichsenstein and Wolfsberg were assigned to the district court of Forchheim , Höfen to the district court of Nuremberg and Pegnitz and all other communities to the district court of Bayreuth .
