Stadtsteinach District Court

The Stadtsteinach District Court was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1973 and was based in Stadtsteinach .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court in Stadtsteinach was established, the district of which comprised the district of the previous district court Stadtsteinach with the exception of two communities that were transferred to the district court of Kronach and thus the towns of Enchenreuth , Eppenreuth , Gösmes , Gössersdorf , Grafengehaig , Grünlas , Guttenberg , Heinersreuth , Hohenberg , Horbach , Köstenberg , Kupferberg , Ludwigschorgast , Marienweiher , Marktleugast , Neuensorg , Presseck , Rappetenreuth , Reichenbach , Rugendorf , slag Reuth , Schlockenau , Schwandstrasse , Seibel village , town Steinach, Traindorf , Triebenreuth , Untersteinach , Vogt village , Walberngrün , Wartenfels , Weidmes , Wildenstein and Zaubach included. The higher instance was the Bayreuth Regional Court and the Bamberg Higher Regional Court .

When the law on the organization of ordinary courts in the Free State of Bavaria (GerOrgG) came into force on July 1, 1973, the Stadtsteinach District Court was dissolved and its district, with the exception of Seibelsdorf, which was assigned to the Kronach District Court, was assigned to the Kulmbach District Court .

The district court building was located in a high three-story eaves side building at Hauptstrasse 9 and is now a listed building.
