Michael Schoepperl

Michael Schoepperl (born June 14, 1964 ) is a German journalist .

Schoepperl attended the Albrecht Altdorfer Grammar School in Regensburg . He studied economics, politics, and journalism. He has been working as a journalist since 1986. Initially, he worked as an editor, chief reporter and head of department at the Spandauer Volksblatt , the Mittelbayerische Zeitung and the BZ in Berlin. From Berlin he moved to Lübecker Nachrichten as head of department and was appointed deputy editor-in-chief in 2002. In May 2004 he succeeded Friedrich Kraft as editor-in-chief of the Donaukurier in Ingolstadt. In the same year Michael Schmatloch replaced him in this position. Schoepperl has been managing director of an agency for communication and media consulting in Berlin since 2006.
