Michael Schultz (born May 30, 1993 in Landau in the Palatinate ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Michael Schultz was trained in the youth department of the Karlsruher SC . For Karlsruhe, he played 46 games in the B and A Junior League South / South West and scored three goals. From the 2012/2013 season, the Karlsruhe team used him in their U23 team, which played in the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga . In two years, Schultz was there 67 times. He then moved to the second team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the Regionalliga Südwest . For the “Red Devils” he scored six goals in 48 games. For the 2016/2017 season, Schultz signed a one-year contract with the regional league team SV Waldhof Mannheim , which was initially extended by one year in 2017 and then by two more years in 2018. With the Waldhöfern, Schultz was promoted to the 3rd division in the 2018/2019 season and made his debut in the professional league on July 21, 2019 in the game of Chemnitzer FC against Waldhof Mannheim. He scored his first goal in the 3rd division on August 5, 2019 in a 4-0 home win against TSV 1860 Munich . After the 2019/20 season, Schultz left SV Waldhof Mannheim and switched to the promoted team in the 2nd Bundesliga , Eintracht Braunschweig .
