Michael Selk

Michael Selk (* 1943 in Berlin ) is a Hamburg politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany and a former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Selk is a trained sociologist and worked as a research assistant . In 1984 he wrote a dissertation on “Gender and Career Choice” at the University of Hamburg .

From November 1986 to 1993 he was a member of the Hamburg Citizenship and was for his parliamentary group on the Budget Committee, the Committee on Home Affairs and the Public Service and the Committee on Science and Research.

He sits on the board of the "Hamburger Hospice im Helenenstift" with the former member of parliament Petra Brinkmann . There he takes on the role of treasurer.
