Petra Brinkmann
Petra Brinkmann (born August 2, 1942 in Hamburg ) is a German politician of the SPD and a former member of the Hamburg Parliament .
Life
Petra Brinkmann graduated from high school in Hamburg. She then began training as a medical-technical assistant (MTA).
She is married and has two kids.
politics
She joined the SPD in 1973. Within the party, she took on the functions of a district chairman, a deputy district chairman and deputy state chairman.
She was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 1986 to 2008. The focus of her political work was social, health and financial policy. She was chairman of the social committee and represented the SPD as a member of the health committee. She was the specialist spokesperson for her group for senior citizens and social affairs. In addition, she was temporarily on the board of her group.
She is a member of the boards of the “ Hamburg Hospice in the Helene Foundation ” and the “Association against Aggression and Violence”.
