Nawabshah (often written separately: Nawab Shah , Urdu : نوابشاہ) is a city in the center of Sindh Province in Pakistan, which was founded in 1912 . It is about 4 hours by car from Karachi on the Indus River and is also known as the heart of Sindh . The city is known for sugar cane and banana production as the urban area has a hot and dry climate. Nawabshah has an airport near the city. In addition, Nawabshah is connected to the main line of the Pakistan Railway and the main connection point of the Pakistan Railway Company.
