Michael Spehr

Michael Spehr (* 1964 in Rietberg ) is a German journalist for the business and technology departments.

Life

After graduating from high school in Paderborn , Spehr studied history, philosophy and sociology at the universities of Paderborn and Bielefeld . In 1998 he was in Bielefeld at Hans-Ulrich Wehler with a thesis on the German Luddites in the 19th century doctorate .

Since 1987 he has worked as a freelance journalist, first for Markt + Technik Verlag , then Gong Verlag . From 1997 Spehr worked as a freelancer for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung , and since 1999 he has been the business editor there. He mainly writes for the weekly supplement "Technik und Motor". Since 2006, this section has also been represented in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung and Spehr is also an editor there. Its name is misp .

Spehr has been a member of the jury for the TOMMI children's software award since 2003 .
