Michael Thöndl

Michael Thöndl (* 1959 in Vienna ) is an Austrian political scientist .

Life

The Italy expert Thöndl, who received his doctorate in 1986 , is a political scientist who primarily works in the history of ideas, who has made a name for himself in particular with research on the German historical philosopher and political writer Oswald Spengler and has published works in the following areas: political theory and the history of ideas, Italy, Totalitarianism, fascism, “conservative revolution”, university and educational history, history of business administration and the European Union. Thöndl is Prof. (FH) and department head for political science at the University of Applied Sciences of the bfi Vienna and lecturer at the University of Innsbruck , which granted him the license to teach political science in 2011.
