Michael George Walsh (born May 30, 1986 in Liverpool ) is an English football player who currently plays for Rhyl FC .

Career

Michael Walsh started his career with Rhyl FC in 2002 before joining the Chester City youth team in 2004 . In his youth club Rhyl FC he was the captain of the U-18 team. In 2005 he was called up to the professional team of Chester City and made his debut on January 8, 2005 in the FA Cup game against AFC Bournemouth . Walsh followed the youth players Robbie Booth , Gavin Lynch and Shaun Whalley , who also made their professional debut under coach Ian Rush . His Football League debut came a week later when he was substituted on for Cambridge United . He scored his first goal in a 2-2 draw with Southend United on March 5, 2005.

Despite his appearances in the professional team, Walsh's contract was not renewed at the end of the season. He first completed a trial training session at Wrexham FC before returning to his youth club Rhyl FC at short notice . Without having played a game, he moved to Bangor City in September 2005 . At Bangor City he played regularly for four years until he moved to the Cypriot club APOP Kinyras Peyias .

In 2011 he returned to Wales and went to Bangor City before it in January 2012 to Aberystwyth Town moved.
