Michael Ward (born December 23, 1992 ) is an American Nordic combined skier .
Career
Michael Ward made his debut in the Nordic Combined Continental Cup on December 12, 2009 in Soldier Hollow . In a Gundersen competition on the large hill with a subsequent cross-country skiing distance of ten kilometers, he finished 43rd. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2010 in Hinterzarten , his best result was a tenth place in the team competition together with Nick Hendrickson , Taylor Fletcher and Clifford Field. He achieved his best result at this event in 2012 in the Turkish Erzurum also in the team competition in eighth. His best placement in an individual competition was a ninth place in the same year.
On December 14, 2012, he achieved his best result so far in the Continental Cup with second place in Soldier Hollow. At the end of the 2012/13 season , his best overall result was 37th. On January 5, 2014 he made his debut in Tchaikovsky, Russia, in the Nordic Combined World Cup and finished in 47th place.
Michael Ward completed his last international competition so far on February 7, 2016 in Planica, Slovenia .
