Michael Zeidler

Michael Zeidler (* 1. January 1944 in Reichenbach im Vogtland ) is a German politician of the SPD and from 1998 to 2002 member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life and work

After attending primary school, Zeidler trained as a dyer. He completed this in 1961 and did his Abitur by 1964 . In 1970 he graduated as a qualified engineer for chemical plant engineering and five years later as a qualified engineer for chemical process engineering. From 1970 to 1990 he was employed in the Buna works and in the Schwarzheide synthesis plant (investment division). From 1990 he was a field engineer for a mechanical engineering company.

Zeidler is married and has two children.

Zeidler is a member of the city council of Halle (Saale). From 1998 to 2002 he was a member of the state parliament. He represented the constituency of Halle (Saale) VI and was a member of the Committee on Culture and Media and the Committee on Petitions.
