Michael Zullo (born September 11, 1988 in Brisbane ) is an Australian football player who also has Italian citizenship . He has been under contract with the Dutch honorary division club FC Utrecht since 2010 .

Career

Zullo made his first steps in the senior sector in the leagues of the Australian state of Queensland . In 2007 he signed a contract with the professional club Queensland Roar and established himself as a regular player in his first season.

In May 2008 he played for the first time for the Australian Olympic team (U-23) , but missed the call to the squad for the Olympic soccer tournament in China. In early 2009 he made his debut in the Australian senior team as part of qualifying for the 2011 Asian Cup against Indonesia .

For the 2010/11 season, Zullo and his Brisbane team- mates Tommy Oar and Adam Sarota move to the Dutch first division club FC Utrecht, where he signed a contract until July 1, 2013. His contract has now been extended to summer 2019. On September 6, 2013, he returned to his homeland, switched to the Australian first division club Adelaide United for a year on loan.
