Michaela Baumgartl

Michaela Baumgartl is a former German handball player and handball trainer .

Baumgartl played for VfL Sindelfingen in the Bundesliga . With the German national team , for which Baumgartl scored a total of 23 goals in 55 games, she took part in the 1990 women's handball world championship . In January 2007 she took over the first women's handball team at VfL Sindelfingen as head coach.

Her son Timo Baumgartl plays in the top Dutch league, the Eredivisie for PSV Eindhoven .
