Michaela Pešková (born October 22, 1997 ) is a Slovak hurdler who specializes in the 400 meter distance .

Athletic career

Michaela Pešková gained her first international experience in 2013 when she won the silver medal in the hurdles at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Utrecht in 60.68 seconds and was eliminated from the Slovak 4 x 100 meter relay with 47.81 seconds. The following year she qualified for participation in the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing , where she also won the silver medal in 58.26 s. In 2015 she finished sixth in the European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna in 59.50 s and fifth in 58.17 s at the U20 World Athletics Championships in Bydgoszcz in 2016 . In 2019 she was eliminated from the U23 European Championships in Gävle with 59.72 seconds in the first round and finished sixth in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 46.26 minutes.

In 2015 Pešková became Slovak champion in the 400 meter hurdles.
