Mikhail Dimitrov
Mikhail Dimitrow , actually Mikhail Dimitrow Dafinkitschew ( Bulgarian Михаил Димитров ; born September 30, 1881 in Tschuprene , † October 6, 1966 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian historian , psychologist and philosopher .
Life
From 1946 to 1950 he was a professor at the University of Sofia . From 1949 to 1956 he held the position of Vice President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences .
A research focus was on the Bulgarian rebirth and in particular the work of Christo Botev , Wassil Lewskis and Ljuben Karawelows . In addition, Dimitrov dealt with questions of experimental psychology and critically dealt with Sigmund Freud's views .
He was awarded the Dimitrov Prize.
