Mikhail Ivanovich Bychkov ( Russian Михаил Иванович Бычков ; born May 22, 1926 in Lyubertsy , Russian SFSR ; † May 17, 1997 in Moscow ) was a Russian ice hockey player .

Career

During his career the striker played for Krylya Sovetov Moscow . In total, he scored 208 goals in 280 games in the Soviet league . So he was appointed to the team of the Soviet national ice hockey team. On January 29, 1954, he was in a game against Finland for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. His international career was crowned with a bronze medal at the 1960 Winter Olympics . At the ice hockey world championships he was once world champion with his team (1954). For the national team, he scored 14 goals in 42 international matches. On February 28, 1960, he played his last international match.

In 1953, Mikhail Bychkov received the state award " Honored Master of Sports ".
