Mikhail Michailowitsch Laschewitsch
Michail Michailowitsch Laschewitsch (* 1884 in Odessa , † August 30, 1928 in Harbin , China ) was a Soviet state official and military.
Life
Mikhail Laschewitsch became a member of the Russian Social Democratic Party in 1901 and its Bolshevik faction in 1903 . He took part in the revolution of 1905 , was one of the leaders of the October Revolution in 1917 and later a hero of the Civil War . He belonged to the Zinoviev Opposition, was expelled from the CPSU in 1927 and re-admitted in 1928. Laschewitsch died in China that same year. His wife and mother were murdered during the Stalin Purge .
