Mikhail Sergeyevich Kedrov
Mikhail Sergejewitsch Kedrow (* 1878 in Moscow ; † October 28, 1941 ) was a Soviet politician and Chekist .
Kedrow was an active participant in the uprisings in 1905 and 1917. In World War I he worked as a military doctor. In 1917 he became editor of the newspaper Soldatskaya Pravda and organizer of the newspapers Rabotschi i Soldat und Soldat . After the October Revolution , Kedrov became Commissioner for the Demobilization of the Imperial Army. From March 1919 he was chairman of a special department of the Cheka . After the civil war , he worked on the Supreme Economic Council, the Supreme Court of the USSR , the State Planning Commission and others.
He was arrested during the Stalin Purge and shot in 1941.
