Mikhail Weretennikow ( Russian Михаил Веретенников ; * 1946 ) is a former Soviet ski jumper .

Career

Weretennikow made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament in 1964/65 . He jumped to 10th place in the New Year's competition on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . He repeated this placement on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck . Since he only competed in these two competitions, he finished the tour in 49th place overall. In the following Four Hills Tournament in 1965/66 , Weretenikow only jumped in Innsbruck. With sixth place he achieved the best individual result of his career. In the overall ranking he landed on 89th place. On his last Four Hills Tournament in 1966/67 he started again in Oberstdorf . Although he reached seventh place there on the Schattenbergschanze , he broke off the tour and was 73rd overall.
