Michel Feugère

Michel Feugère (born July 3, 1955 in Roanne ) is a French archaeologist and painter .

He studied literature , art history and archeology at the University of Lyon and in Aix-Marseille . In 1985 he received his doctorate with a dissertation on Gallic fibulae. He is head of department at the Center national de la recherche scientifique for the Department of Mediterranean Archeology (UMR 5140). His specialty are fibulae and small archaeological finds.

Feugère is a corresponding member of the German Archaeological Institute .

In addition to his work as an archaeologist, Feugère paints abstract paintings that have already been exhibited internationally.
