Michel Sanchez
Michel Sanchez (born July 1, 1957 in Somain ) is a French musician. In his youth he studied music ( piano and organ ). Sanchez is co-founder of the band Deep Forest with Éric Mouquet . He won the 1995 Grammy Award and the World Award for best world music album.
In the early 1990s, Sanchez mixed synthesizers with traditional songs from the Solomon Islands . That was the starting point for Deep Forest.
