Michel Truog
Michel Truog (born January 11, 1992 ) is a Swiss pop singer . He took part in the 15th season of the casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar from summer 2017 to May 2018 and reached second place.
Career
Truog comes from Neftenbach in the canton of Zurich . He is in training to become a bricklayer. In 2013 he took part in the castings for Deutschland sucht den Superstar for the first time , but was already eliminated from the castings.
In 2018 he received the "Golden CD" in the casting for his interpretation of Quit Playing Games from the Backstreet Boys by Dieter Bohlen . As a result, he reached the final of the competition, where he had to admit defeat to the winner Marie Wegener .
With his final song And she runs , he reached number 72 in the German single charts.
In 2019 he founded the boy band Recognize with his DSDS colleagues Mario Turtak and Santo Rotolo. Together they released the song Sin duda .
